muzi grew up in zhengzhou, china — ten years there, the rest in america.
last summer, jordan spent two months in onomichi, japan,
learning under tea maker genki takahashi.
this summer, they went back to china together —
ya’an, jingmai, guzhang —
meeting the people behind the tea in this tin.
tea was never really the point.
eventually, a space of their own. for now, just the tin.
